Spencer got his "Wolf"

Look at my Handsome little SCOUT! He worked so hard with his Dad and earned his WOLF! I love being the Mommy and getting pinned by my son! Its an amazing feeling! Spencer also got the beginning of his 100 Year patch! I am so thankful for the SCOUTING program!
After the awards the boys got to do this cool rocket water propelled thing! It was great to watch! The boys had a blast!

I am so lucky to have a loving husband that is a father to my boys, who is involved in the Scouting program.

LISA comes for a visit!

My sister Lisa came to visit us for almost a week! It was so great to have her here. We had so much fun hanging out! We made washer necklaces!
Went swimming at Ross Park!

Had a SONIC picnic at Snake River Landing!
We also went to "ECLIPSE" for a matinee and to Olive Garden for a delicious filling lunch!
It was great! I had so much fun. I wish we lived closer together so we could hang out more. I love you Llllllisa! Your amazing!

Our 4th Celebration

This year we didnt get to go to the Big Fireworks cuz Idaho Falls held them on Saturday(and Brigham held theirs on Monday), but on Sunday to celebrate the actual "4th" we let the kids do some fireworks at home.

Sparklers are always a huge hit!

Then we found out that our neighbor down the street does a "firework" show, so we loaded up our lawn chairs and headed down to watch. It was fun! The kids loved it. I am so thankful for the 4th of July and the importance of it. How lucky we are to live in a free land where we can live, play and worship how we choose!

PIANO :)

My sister had the piano from my mom that we used growing up. She decided to let us take it! So we hauled down the good ol' trailer and loaded up the piano. Wow it was crazy heavy and a little nuts to get it. We got it home safely!

We were going to have our Home Teachers help us move it but gave up and called a piano mover. Good thing we did. They actually had a hard time moving it!

Now it is all shined up and in our living room. It needs a tune up, but then it will be all ready for my kids to learn. I have Britt signed up for lessons. I am looking for a different teacher to teach the boys! I am so excited to have it in our home! Thanks Thad, Lisa, and Trev for helping load it. Sorry about your arm Thad. Thanks Daddy for letting us have it even if you think it wont get played!

Fireworks at USU

Every year we try to go to the FIREWORKS at Utah State in Logan Utah! They usually have them the day before the regular fireworks so we get 2 firework shows! This year they had them on Friday the 2nd! We met up the family and enjoyed some fireworks. I got the family shirts (thanks Mel) from OLD NAVY. I got the wrong size for Dave :( so we didnt get a family pic but I got the kids! They are sooooo cute! Its fun to match! We had a great time! This year it actually ended up being our only firework show. So glad we made it down!

4th Decorations!

I needed some 4th of July Decorations that were not part of my every day "Americana Decor". So I blog stalked and found this great idea! It was so easy and fun to make. I got the idea from here: http://www.oopsey-daisy.blogspot.com/ I want to make her star ones too but I will have to do that next year. I need to learn to cut my own stars first! When I went to Michaels to get the little stars I found these for like $.80 each! I am going to drill some holes in them, add some dowel rods and put them on my "WELCOME" post!

Finally I made these. I found the star plate at the dollar store and added some vinyl! I love the 4th of July and I am so excited for my new decorations!
