Rocky Mountain Raceway
We decided to take the kids to the race at Rocky Mountain Raceways!
We took the kids here a few years ago, but they cant remember it! We had a lot of fun!
Family kinda got frustrated with me cuz I took my book and kept reading instead of watching the race :)
The people sitting in front of us had 2 people from thier family racing so they were a rowdy bunch! Made the race more exciting!
Britt got a free tshirt that they threw into the crowd!
Some of the cars!

~~MOVED~~
We packed up and left our home and friends to come to UTAH!
We believe it was the right thing to do.
Before we left our FANTASTIC neighbor brought us over a GOODBYE basket. I cried and cried. I will miss that family so bad. They are the perfect examples of what all neighbors should be like.
Here is the Budget truck! It was packed sooo full! We had some great SONIC friends come and help us get loaded up. They were amazing HELP!

The long awaited UTAH sign! I love UTAH! It is officially home to us.
Our new home city. Wow it is really different from Idaho Falls and good ol' Brigham City. There are so many traffic lights and too much traffic. But its home now.

Its different but we are trying to embrace the changes. We have a beautiful home and we are closer to family. It is hard to leave good friends but we have to do whats best for our family. So one chapter ends and another begins! Another HIGHLIGHT in our story!

~ Annual Nelson Reunion ~
I got to go and spend a night with Britt at a family Reunion! The boys went to Wyoming with Grandma and Dave stayed in Idaho and the girls got to camp! We slept in Ma T's tent! What a night! We had some crazy laughs thanks to some cousins and Danny! The next day we visited with Family! Britt has a cousin that is a few months younger than her and they played a lot. They even were wearing the same shirt!
We got to see Meghan and Ariel! It was great! I love that family so much! I remember being Britts age and having so much fun. I would wait all year for this camp out! Its crazy to see all the changes over the generations! I sure hope Grandpa and Grandma Nelson are super proud of thier family! We are quite the bunch!

Every summer we try to go to the Drive in Movie at least once. This year we went to "Toy Story 3" with "The Sorcerer's Apprentise". We had so much fun! Spencer made it thru the first movie but was asleep within 5 mins. of the second one! Carter of course was wide awake!
Meanwhile Britt was having fun with Shan and the girls! They did all sorts of fun stuff!
Gotta love the fun of summer!
(Past Due) Summer Happenings#1
We did a few things this summer that I never posted about. Heres a Recap!
We took our Annual Hall Family Trip to Heber City again this year! We had fun hanging out with the family! We ate lots of yummy good food, had our Talent Show, some went golfing, the kids went swimming, and we spent one day at Olympic Park in Park City!
Olympic Park
It was so much fun to spend the day there! What an experience!

They told her all about the Young Womens Program and gave her a WELCOME PACK that included a scripture tote filled with books! Britt was so excited!
Fast forward 2 weeks and it is the day before Britt turns 12!
I get a call and some plans are made and Britt gets a huge surprise!
Two of her favorite Young Women came to our house and decorated her room while she was gone! They did a fantastic job and Britt was so surprised!
They filled her room with streamers and balloons and notes!

Britt was so happy and so excited again to move onto Young Womens!
I know she will do an amazing job working on her 'Personal Progress'!
I am so honored to be able to do the program with her!
Wow what a memorable time of our lives!
