Long time no blog.....

So much has happened since my last post!

Spencer turned 9 in January.

Britt and her friend participated in the Science Fair!

Spencer was "Neil Armstrong" for a report/wax museum.

Carter turned 10!

I also started a new job. I went from 17 hours to 29 hours! I love the job and the money isn't bad either :) We are so anxious for Spring and nice weather. Starting next weekend, we will be spending bunches of time at Lagoon! Love the Season passes! I hope to do better blogging. Its a great way to help me remember what has happened in our crazy lives.

Random

Just a few random things:
Here is my decorated Christmas shelf. It has a few Nativities, Christmas Countdown, and pretty lights. The turtle loves the pretty lights!
One day on Dave's way to work he noticed these huge Snowmen.
So we took a drive to see them. They were as tall as the house! Fun stuff.
I love dressing up Woody! Here is his Christmas Sweater.
He really hated this one. He kept wiggling out of it. It mysteriously disappeared.
So glad I got a picture of it first. I dont know why the ones
from our phones are so small. Oh well. Still a good picture.

Enjoy the randomniss of this post. I am done for awhile.

Decorating the Tree and Family Party

Tree Decorating

Here are the kids with the decorated tree. I did have more pictures of that night but as you know....lost:( It was a fun night and the tree looked great.
On Friday December 17th we had our Waters Family Christmas Party. We ate dinner, acted out the Nativity story, played some table football, broke the Pinata, and did a treat exchange. It was a ton of fun. I love my family so much. My mom did a fabulous job with the invitations and the party. It was great to see my niece and nephew that I never get to see. Plus the treats I brought home were FANTASTIC!

Temple Square

For Family Home Evening on Monday December 13th, we got on Trax (our first time) and went to Temple Square to see the lights! The lights are so beautiful. It was a little chilly but not to bad. We wandered the visitors center and watched the Nativity Story on the grounds.

Then Dad treated us to a carriage ride. We haven't done it for a long time so it was GREAT! Our driver was amazing and told us a lot of facts about Salt Lake! I did have a picture of the kids with the horse but that one is lost :( It was a great night. Another Family Tradition to keep!

Halloween 2010

We went to a local pumpkin patch to pick up our pumpkins!
Its so interesting how we all pick up different pumpkins. Some like tall and skinny, some like short and fat! What a great variety.
Kids busy working on their pumpkins! Such a gooey mess. They love it, Mom hates it. I found seeds and goo for weeks!

Woody did not like this at all! We thought it was so cute! I had to hurry and snap the picture cuz he kept crawling out. Britt and I got the biggest kick out of it. He is so cute.
Kids with their masterpieces. Britt put too many cuts in hers and her face caved in. This seems to happen quite a bit to us. We still put the pumpkins on display!
Kiddos in their costumes. Woody of course with his Halloween on! He hated this too!

For Halloween we decided to spend it with cousins. (sorry grandparents). Our kids have so much fun together and we have never spent a Halloween with them since Carter and Jared were babies so we decided that since we live close, we would hang out together. We went to Mels and had pizza and then took the kids out Trick or Treating. It was a little cold and snowy/rainy but they had so much fun!
Kids checking out their "goods"! Afterwards they all cuddled in blankets and watched a movie! Then we headed home! It was great. Thanks for a fabulous time Justin and Mel! What great memories!

Catch UP

Wow it has been a really long time since I last posted. So much has happened. I am kicking myself now for not posting more sooner. If I would have, I wouldn't have had such a hard time this last few weeks. Let me explain.....

I have been saving my pictures on my computer, procrastinating putting them on a cd or blogging them. Thinking oh I will get to it. Well a few weeks ago I got a "bug" of some sort and lost pictures and videos and documents. I have been able to recover some but not all and it is a terrible feeling. If I would have blogged them I would at least have that copy of them but nooooo. I put it off and now am paying for it. It has now become my personal goal to "stay on top" of pictures, including blogging. I hope I can stick with it.

So for now I will catch up on the few pictures I have recovered.

Witches Fest at Gardner Village

Every year my mom, sister, and brother have been going to the Witches Fest at Gardner Village. This year since we live so close, Britt and I decided to go along too.
Here is the group outside my house before we went!
The sign as you enter!
We ate dinner, wandered around the shops, and watched the witches parade! It was so much fun. Luckily we went on a night that wasn't too cold. I think this will definately be a tradition!
