Carter is 9 years old!

Our First SonCarter David Hall

made his appearance on this Earth 9 years ago!

We should have known he would be such an active little boy by the way he arrived.

I was about 5 weeks from my due date when he decided to come!

He came fast and with a purpose!
He was ready to be here!

My labor was fast, fast, fast!

He was born at 11:37 p.m.

almost in Grandparents bonus room, or in the Rodeo on 1100 South!

Luckily Dad's a fast driver!

He was too early for his lungs, had to call in life flight but a snow storm was in the way.

He left his mommy and traveled to Ogden to a better hospital!

I was released about 12 hours after he was born!

He made Brittnee a BIG SISTER!

He was very sick and in the hospital for 8 days.

Looking at him now you would never know he fought for his life!

Today our Carter is 9 years old!

Car-Boy! You are such a great boy! You are so smart and so sweet! You are a great friend! You have a great talent of making friends wherever, whenever!

You are hard-working, very forgiving, and you are still in such a hurry to get where your going!

You love cheeseburgers, Mario, and erasers!

You are adorable in your little crooked glasses!

We are so happy that you are healthy and so thankful your a part of OUR FAMILY!

We love you Car-Boy!

Spencer Follow Jesus' Example

Spencer was baptized yesterday! I took this picture of him and made an invitation to send to family members!
I found this cute Baptism Poster on sugardoodle.info It was so much fun to make! The other kids were bummed I hadn't made it for them. I had it waiting for Spencer downstairs when he woke up! Spencer has always known that when he turns 8 he gets his "Holy Bible" and a suit! He was so happy to get it finally!

I love the little trinkets that Deseret Book carries! I always want Spencer to CTR so he can RTC (return to Christ)!

After the Baptism and Confirmation! Our ETERNAL FAMILY! We had our family and friends over for lunch afterwards. Spencer got some great gifts to remind him of his SPECIAL Day! We had a great time visiting! Thanks to everyone who traveled for a few hours to spend time with us! Thanks to our WARD family who taught and supported our family! You are truly great examples to the newest member!

Spencers Birthday

Spencers birthday was great! We woke up early for presents!
Bakugan was his chosen theme!

The big present was a basketball shooting game!

We went to LEO's for dinner!

Then home for some delicious Ice Cream Cake!

It was a great day!

(for the next month I have 2 eight year olds..)

My baby is 8 Years Old

On this day in 2002 my last baby was born!
Spencer Brent Hall

was born in Logan, Utah!

6 weeks early......

He arrived at 9:22 am after a long hard night at the hospital.

We weren't sure if we were going to have the baby or not. It was a crazy time!

He came out crying mad...we thought he would be okay!?!

He wasn't... he quickly started going downhill

before we knew it he was rushed to NICU

His poor little lungs werent ready to be born

so in goes the tube.

(This was standard for us since our other son did the same thing :) stinkin boys)
He was on oxygen for a few days,

then we had to teach him how to eat,

then he got jaundice.

Finally after a week we brought him home!

He got RSV about 2 months later and we were in the hospital for another 10 days.

He has grown up with asthma (not horrible but bothersome)

Now he is 8 years old

Attending 2nd grade

Going to Boy Scouts

Just like his Daddy!

Spencer is such a sweet boy! He is funny too! He says some funny stuff!

He has crazy mood swings that go from way mad to very lovey in about 10 mins!

He is super smart and has learned to take care of himself thanks to older

sister and brother.

We are so thankful to have him in our FAMILY!

Rethinking CHRISTmas!

I really really want to do a great post about some of the crafts I did for Christmas or on Happy New Years but today it will wait.

Today I was looking back at some friends' Christmas Post and I found ONE that inspired me! It made me so happy! I love it! It is an idea that is both spiritual and giving! Check it out!

I love the 3 present idea. (I actually saw something like that on another friends blog!) But the dividing it into the 3 gifts from the Wise Men is amazing idea! I love it! I have added the Purple Wrapping Paper to my list of things to look for over the year! {I bet I can find it at EASTER time!} Also now I have a basic layout of gifts I can start to look and shop earlier. {it is always a goal of mine to shop earlier!}

The Santa gift has been on my mind too! I think that the best idea came from the other "3 present friend" of mine when she blogged about when the kids write their letter to Santa "they suggest 3 present ideas to him and SANTA "chooses" which one would be best to bring on Christmas Eve. I LOVE IT! This will elimante so much stress and save on money as well as making CHRISTmas more meaningful and memorable!

Merry CHRISTmas 2009

Christmas Day is always AMAZING at our house!

It is TRADITION for all of us to go downstairs TOGETHER! Here are the kids waiting to go downstairs!

Here is what was waiting for us!

We always start with adding our BABY JESUS to our Nativity

and saying a Prayer!

Then we open STOCKINGS!

After stockings it's present time.

I am so sad to say that I didn't get very many pictures of PRESENTS :(

I was to busy enjoying the kids opening!
We got video but that's about it.

Kids got lots of great gifts!

After presents the kids played and PARENTS slept!

Then we got ready and headed to

UTAH!!

We didn't eat before we left so we had

GAS Station food!?!?!

We spent the rest of the day visiting, talking, opening presents, relaxing, eating.

JUST ENJOYING our CHRISTMAS!
