Britts 11th Bday

In usual Hall Family Tradition, Brittnee got 3 birthday parties! One for the Waters Family, one for Hall Family, and one for our family! We went to Utah and after the bridal shower and dress fitting we did bday celebrations. For the Waters party we had cheesecake and presents on Friday night!
Saturday we had dinner and cake at Halls! Brittnee's cousin Jared turned 9 on the 7th so we had a double party!

We all had a great time at the parties! Britt got lots of fun presents! We love having big families with big parties! We headed home Saturday after the party! We brought Kali home with us! She got to go to church with us on Sunday!

Then on Monday morning my baby girl woke up and was 11 years old!

Britt had a fun morning! She woke up to balloons, streamers and presents! She got a lot of fun stuff. Her big present was 2 tickets to Miley Cyrus coming in concert on Sept 29! Britt was super excited! Later that day we ate lunch at Sonic! We saw "EARTH" for our summer movie!

That night we took the kids to LEO's pizza place. They love it there!

After Leo's we went home! For dessert Britt didnt want cake. She wanted Sugar Cookies! I stopped at Great Harvest and got her big Snickerdoodle cookies! They were soft and yummy!

It was great for Britt to be able to spend her birthday with Kali! We kep Kali until Wednesday! We cannot believe Britt is 11! These years have flown by! She is growing too fast! She is a beautiful sweet girl and we are so lucky to have her in our family!

Sorry for the delay in posting. I have been trying to get us all ready to start school! I cant believe summer is over. I will post First Day of School pictures soon!

Loves and hugs to all,

My Girl is a Jr. Bridesmaid!

My niece Ariel asked Britt to be a Jr. Bridesmaid in her wedding and of course she said yes! So Lisa (my sister, Ariel's mom) found her a dress and ordered it. We have seen it once when we had a fitting and measured Britt for bigger straps! (no spaghetti straps for her) But since we were down in Utah and they needed to do a final fitting of the dress, we decided to also do a trial run for Britt's hair. Ariel wants it done a specific way and we needed to see how long it took to get it done so we made a hair appointment for Britt!

Dawn did a great job! Britt's hair looked perfect. After the hair we went to Layton to get the dress! It is so beautiful! Its a great color.

Seeing Britt with her hair done and that dress on just made my heart jump! I thought Britt looked so beautiful and grown up. I just wanted to cry. She is growing up to fast! All that I could think of was "so this is what Prom preparation will be like". Aahhh I was definitely having some anxiety! I am so not ready for that yet! But I am a proud Mommy and I think Britt is beautiful! I can hardly wait to see both girls in their dresses and their hair done! It will be unforgettable!
PS Thanks to Grandma Nea for taking care of the Boys!

Bridal Shower

Last week we headed down to Utah for a few fun activities!
The first one was to help Grandma and Sisters host a bridal shower
for our oldest Niece Ariel!
She is getting married on Sept. 5th!

We did a basic shower no real theme!
We served chicken salad sandwiches, fruit bowl, nut cup,
strawberry shortcake danish cake, and fruit punch!
It was decorated in her colors pink and silver and stars!

Of course I made her a sign!
This is what Ariel wanted it to say!
Typical Ariel!

I also made her some candle holder thingys!
They have Live, Laugh, and Love written on them with vinyl!
The bottoms were star rocks.
They had white candles with watermelon paper wrapped around them
and decorated with silver stars!
I thought they were adorable. I want to make me a set too!
Silly me I didnt take a picture of just them. Sorry!

We ate, opened presents, and I sneakily played a silly game.
It was funny and I think everyone liked it!
I wont give details on here but if you want to know, leave me a comment!
Ariel got a lot of fun things.
I am so happy for her and Tyler!
They are a darling couple!
Watch for wedding pictures here after 9/5/09!

Loves, hugs, and kisses to all!
emily :)

Our Camping Trip

Last week we decided to take a little camping trip. So we packed up and drove to Kelley Canyon and went camping at Heise. It was so much fun! We left Sunday night and got the camp all setup. We went for a family walk, tried to throw a line in the river, shot a bb gun at cans, cooked hotdogs and smores and told silly scary stories around the campfire. Then headed to bed!

Then on Monday we got up and made scrambled eggs for breakfast! It was yummy! Why does food always taste so good when you cook it outside? Then we went down to the Hot Pools (that are about 5 mins from where we set up the tent) and spent the day swimming! There are a total of 3 "pools" that you can swim in. The first pool is a 82* fresh water pool that has a diving board and next to it has a slide. At first the kids were scared to try it. Then Dave took them each one by one and they ended up loving it. Britt was slower to try and like it but once she did she was a sliding queen! The other pool is a warm pool. You have to walk around the building to get to it but it is nice. It is a "natural" warm pool so we were a little overwhelmed by the rotten sulfur smell. But it was a relaxing 92* degrees! And your nose grows a little accustomed to the smell! Then there is a hot pool that is smaller and stinkier but it was a delightfully warm 105* mineral pool! It was great! We swam for 3 hours then went back to camp for lunch, swam for another 2 hours, then had hobo dinners at camp and then went back for another 2 hours! It was a little rainy the last few hours so we stayed in the warm pool and then showered. Its so nice to shower while camping!
After the showers we went back to camp and roasted marshmallows. Everyone was so tired from a full day of swimming so we sat by the fire for a little bit and then headed to bed.

Tuesday morning we got up, ate poptarts, loaded everything up and went home! It was a fun trip! It was so close to home but far enough to be in the mountains. Gotta love Idaho! I hope to make this a little family tradition! We also want to go to the HOT pools sometime in the winter! It would be fun to sit in the hot pool while it lightly snows! But we can wait at least 4 more months for that! After the camping trip we headed to Utah for some more fun! But that's another post!

My Brittnee is 11

Can you believe that a little over 11 years ago this was my Princess Brittnee!
And now this is her! Oh wow!My sweet baby girl turns 11 today and I am amazed and
saddened by how fast she is growing up!
We waited for what seemed like a lifetime to get
her here! She was born on August 10, 1998
at 7:10 pm. She weighed 7lbs and 3 oz!
She was a sweet little chunkster baby! My angel!
Britt has grown up incredibly.
She is the best big sister to her brothers!
She is the best biggest cousin to her Hall cousins!
She is the sweetest girl to her aunts and uncles!
She is her grandparents Joy!
She is her daddies Princess!
But she is my girl! She is my bestest friend!
I cannot tell you how lucky I am to
have her in my life! She really is amazing.
I am so proud of her and I love her so very much!
I hope she has a fantastic birthday!

Chukars Game

One of Summers Greatest Traditions!

Last night we took the kids to a Chukkars Game!
The boys have gone once before. This time Britt and I went too!

And Carter's friend Jack came with us!

It was $1 hotdog/chip/soda night so we ate dinner there.

We got to meet the Chukkars mascot and Ms. Idaho Falls

We got a "seat pad" for being some of the first people there!

We sat right behind the Chukkars dugout.

Quite a few fly balls flew over our heads.

One landed in the row behind us. But it was too far to the right to get it.

Here's some of the Team!

Here's the kids after we sang "Take Me Out to The Ball Game"

Here is the scoreboard.

Chukkars ended up losing but it was a fun night!

Next week we are doing another one of summers great Traditions! Cant wait to post pictures!
Happy End of July!

Kittens

We added a few new additions to our family this weekend! Our cat Fiesty had her first (and last litter) of kittens on Saturday! She had 3 orange, 1 gray, and 1 black kitten. They are super cute and tiny. I am not a cat fan at all. But the little meowers are cutting a little into my heart. And I am proud of Fiesty! She is a great mommy to the kittens! We are giving them all away so if anyone is interested in getting a kitten in the middle of September let me know!

Have a great last week of July! Loves to all!
