Chukars Game

One of Summers Greatest Traditions!

Last night we took the kids to a Chukkars Game!
The boys have gone once before. This time Britt and I went too!

And Carter's friend Jack came with us!

It was $1 hotdog/chip/soda night so we ate dinner there.

We got to meet the Chukkars mascot and Ms. Idaho Falls

We got a "seat pad" for being some of the first people there!

We sat right behind the Chukkars dugout.

Quite a few fly balls flew over our heads.

One landed in the row behind us. But it was too far to the right to get it.

Chukkars ended up losing but it was a fun night!

Kittens

We added a few new additions to our family this weekend! Our cat Fiesty had her first (and last litter) of kittens on Saturday! She had 3 orange, 1 gray, and 1 black kitten. They are super cute and tiny. I am not a cat fan at all. But the little meowers are cutting a little into my heart. And I am proud of Fiesty! She is a great mommy to the kittens! We are giving them all away so if anyone is interested in getting a kitten in the middle of September let me know!

2009 Family Cabin

Last week was our Annual Hall Family Vacation! We stayed in a beautiful cabin in Heber Utah! Thanks Pa and Nea! We had a great time!

We played some games, boys played pool and fished, we ate lots of yummy food, Girls went shopping in Park City, relaxed on front porch swing, snuggled McKenna, sewed, watched movies, had a bday party and just relaxed! On Thursday afternoon we had a family talent show! Kevin was the announcer and Pa was the judge. Some of the great acts were:

• Little Girls singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
• Dave and Spencer doing Hammer Time
• Melanie doing a cool knee trick and a chapstick lid trick
• Carter showing his talent of making a friend
• Dave showing his magic trick
• Big girls doing Macarena
• Dave, Britt and Christy doing gymnastics act
• Dave and Britt flipping Spencer over
• Dave and Jeff standing on thier heads!

It was so fun! We all laughed and took tons of pictures and video. Nea got a great video of Hammer Time and I will post it when I figure out how to load it on here! Everyone who participated did a wonderful job. Thanks Pa for the yummy candy as the Reward!
Then Thursday night we all gathered on the porch and some of the family created a "LOOM Club"! It was great to watch Dave learn to loom! At first Britt didnt want to learn and then after she watched Cousin Sarah do it, she had to be a part of the club. Even Spencer joined in the Loom Club! Of course in the end Carter wanted to learn too! I am happy to announce Dave finished his first "scarf" and is starting on another one! Later that night the family gathered on the porch under the stars for Family Prayer and a few songs! It was Breath Taking to stand around singing "Families Can Be Together Forever!" I will never forget it.

We all got up, cleaned and headed home on Friday morning! I cant believe its over already! Such a great time! I am looking forward to another campout where we really have to "rough" it in tents in August! Thanks to the awesome Hall, Palmer, Hall, and Hall families who made my vacation great! I love you all so much! I am so thankful to have you as family!

New Family Hobby

We have a new family Hobby!

Dave got a fishing pole, tackle box with goodies, and fishing license for his Birthday! Carter got money from Pa so he bought a fishing pole too! (Now the other 2 kids want poles so we will go and get some!) We have spent almost every night this week fishing! Its been so fun! We have been to 2 different spots. Our favorite one is a Kids Pond in Shelley! Here is the family enjoying some fishing time!

Dave cast the line then went for a walk. Britt was in charge of the line and she pulled
this sweet fish out! She would not touch the fish at all. She did however name
it Spots!

Spencer reeled in the smaller fish! He too would not touch the fish!
He wont even touch the worms!
He named his fish "Bloody" since the hook really held on!

I am Crafting!

So I decided to post some of my crafts I have been working on this summer. I have a vinyl cutter so I tend to use it alot for presents! Here are my latest ones~

This one I made for my Mother In Law for Mothers Day.

I wanted to post a picture a while ago but I just gave it to her.

She put it in her kitchen! It looks great!

This one I made for my sister's birthday! I didnt know what to do for

her so I did the FAMILY! I have seen it in stores but it was a bit

pricey so I made it myself! It was fun to do. Now I want to make me one!

After I made a sand block for my mom,

my sister wanted one. Lucky for me her birthday was right around the

corner from Mothers Day! So she got one. Its different than my moms

but great for my sister....The Dolphin Lover!

This is a quote from a Pooh Bear movie. I have always loved it.

I have another sister with a birthday so I made it for her.

I think it says alot and helps for some things we go thru in life.

I want one now too!

Finally a Brother in law had a birthday

(yes alot of summer bdays in our family).

He is a huge Bronco Fan so I made this! It was fun

to do a helmet! And a new trick to do 2 different colors of letters!

I havent given it to him yet so I hope he likes it! I'll see next week!

More Summer Fun!

We have had a fun start to summer! We cant believe a month of vacation is already over. The weather has been a little nuts! On Friday the 26th of June we had a crazy hail storm. Dave had to go to Utah to pick up a Sonic trailer and he got caught in the middle of the storm! It flooded Pocatello. It hit us about 45 mins later. It came on fast and only lasted a few minutes. But it was intense. Heres a few pictures. After the hail stopped the kids went out to play! They loved it! And luckily Dave made it home. My poor van hood has hail "dimples" but not to bad!

Then on Tuesday the 30th we went to see Transormers 2 at the Drive-in! It was so awesome! The sky did cloud up and the wind was blowing like crazy but it was great! The movie was "SWEET"! We are Transformers fans so of course we loved it! Here are a few highlights.

We also had a great 4th Celebration. We went to Utah on Friday. We got to see Britt's dress for Ariels wedding! It is so pretty. I didnt take any pics sorry. Then we hung out with Lisa and went to the Mall. Then we headed back to Perry to meet up with the boys and went to Logan. Dave and Spencer went into Romney Stadium to watch the firewors. Carter, Britt and I stayed out on the lawn with family!

Then on Saturday we hung out in Perry for the morning! The Kids, Dave and Halls went to Perry Parade, Then we went to Ma T to swim for a bit. Dave and I hung out on the hammock before kids took it over. Then Britt and Carter went to the Stadium of Fire in Provo to see the Jonas Brothers! Dave, Spencer and I hung out at Ma T with family! It was great!

Hope everyone had a great 4th weekend! I am so thankful to live in America! I am so thankful for all the soldiers who have and who are serving our country! So proud! Loves to all!
