Grins and Fins 2

After a few hours of swimming, we decided to go and eat. We chose Training Table. The boys thought it was so cool that you get to order on a phone and then it rings back so you know when to get your food!
Then we went back to the hotel and the boys decided they wanted to "Pump some iron and Tread the Mill" (crazy spencerisms). So we checked out the gym for a bit.
The boys went swimming again and then we went back to the room. They showered and had yummy snacks from 7/11 and watched tv on thier couch bed!
It was a fun night. We missed Britt while we were there. We might just have to go again!

Grins and Fins

This summer we didnt take a "real" vacation, but Brittnee got to go to St. George with Grandma, so Dave and I took the boys on a Mini "Stay-cation". We picked a hotel that we drive by on I215. Its called Holiday Inn Express with Grins and Fins Water Park. Its about 15 minutes from our house :), but it was great fun!

Boys hate it when I make them stop for a picture. They wanted to "just get in the water"!
This is the mini kids slide. They boys played on it only a little bit.

This is the huge slide that actually goes from inside the building, outside, loops around and comes back inside. It is so cool to see on the freeway, and even cooler to be on.
It has a big loopity staircase,
and here is where you pop back in!
It was actually a pretty big slide and went fast enough to dunk Spencer under when he came out!
Such a fun time!

Nelson Reunion

My Mom's family has a reunion every year and this year our family was in charge of it. I didnt get as many pictures as I would have liked to (I was having so much fun visiting) but the ones I did get explain a lot. Britt and I had to share a new cousin Baby Parker! He is sooooo sweet. All the kids enjoyed the water slide and swing. There is also a teeter totter that was fun. We played a few games of Minute to Win It. The boys enjoyed playing "Bayblade" with cousins from California. It was a fun weekend! It is always so nice to sit and visit with family that you dont get to see very often. I love the Nelson Family!

Fishing

Dave and the boys went fishing with Grandpa and Uncle Kevin a few weeks ago.
They had a ton of fun and caught lots of fish!
The boys didnt get enough fishing so we went and tried a little pond not too far from our house. We didnt even get one little nibble and the boys were frustrated, but it was still a fun night for the family! We are going to look for another place close to try!

End of year!

The end of the school year has finally come and gone!We did however have a few last projects to complete. Britt had a
research paper due. She was allowed to pick any country she wanted. She picked HAITI.
It wouldnt have even been on my mind but she chose it and we learned alot about Haiti.
Even got to make a mini float.
Glad thats over.
Every year we do a "End of the year" present for the teachers.
This year I bought projects from WOOD CONNECTION,
we painted, glittered and wrapped up flowers! We all gave our teachers one.

Then I had to make a set for myself. They are so fun!
June 1st
My dear friend was blessed with this sweet baby boy.
She is adopting him. It has been in the works for awhile.
He finally arrived!
He has plenty of sisters, aunts, and grandmas so I declared myself "Godmother"
What a wonderful way to start off the summer!
Lots more posts to come.

loves hugs and summer kisses!

Another Long Past Due

Once again it has been awhile since my last update. So much has happened. I will sum it all up with a few pictures!
Easter (along with Spring Break) came and went fast. We colored eggs and visited Family on Easter. Didn't do anything spectacular for Spring Break.

Britt graduated from DARE! I am so proud of her. She had to write an essay and it was great. She loves the shirt. Its hard to get it off of her so I can wash it.

Britt also had her first piano recital! She memorized her song and she got to play it on the beautiful piano. We surprised her with flowers afterwards. Her piano teacher is a good friend of mine. Britt will be in piano for a long time!

We also moved again. The house we were renting was great, but the owners decided to come home earlier than ever expected. It was a shock, but we found a house that we like (closer to work) and we are settling in. I wanted to get moved for the summer so the kids could meet friends and be already for school in the fall. Its tough to move. We should be PROS! We will luckily be here for a long time.

I will catch up again soon. I need to make it through the end of the school year and then I will have tons of time to catch up!

Loves, hugs, and smooches to all!
